  • Is there an age requirement to rent an RV?

    Minimum of 25 years of age 

  • What if my drivers license is expired?

    Unfortunately we only permit those with a valid ID at this time. If you have a replacement coming but have not received it yet due to delays, you should have been given a paper copy with new dates, or emailed a printable copy. This is required for the checkin process.

  • What type of insurance do I need?

    If you are towing, you must provide a copy of an up to date auto insurance policy. Valid ID and policy names must match.

  • Do I need a truck to tow a trailer?

    No. Towing can be done with many different types of vehicles. Most of our units can be towed with a mid size SUV. Please check your vehicles towing capacity, then carefully read the units description to find weight details. 

  • What are the towing requirements?

    Towing is allowed based on previous towing experience and your knowledge of setting up a travel trailer. This is offered on a case by case basis only. We encourage those who are not experienced in either to allow us to deliver and set up the unit for the ultimate camping experience. 

  • Do you offer delivery?

    Yes, we offer delivery to most all destinations, our base pricing starts at $225 for the first 25 miles then is $4.50 per mile after that. Mileage is calculated one way.

  • What does the delivery fee include?

    Our delivery fee includes the delivery and set up of the

    unit, showing you how to use and navigate the RV, as well as answer any of your questions. We

    will come back on your departure date on the scheduled pick up time to tear down and haul

    away. All you have to do is show up with your family and desired personal items and we’ll

    handle the rest.

  • Can I stay somewhere without any type of hook up?

    We do allow dry camping with prior

    permission.

  • Do I need to clean the RV?

    We require a $129 Prep fee, ensuring enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols are taken in between each booking. We require that the unit come back in the condition it was given in, additional cleaning fees will apply.

  • What is your Pet policy?

    Your pet is our guest too but please be responsible for cleaning up after your pet. We have an invisible pet policy and if we don’t know the pet was in

    the RV and no damage occurred, then no extra cleaning fees will be applied. An increased

    damage deposit and cleaning fee may apply for pet odor, hair, urine, feces, etc.

  • How many people can we have in the RV?

    Occupants are to never exceed RV sleeping capacity. If a unit sleeps 5 that is the maximum number of guests at any given time. 

  • How does the deposit work?

    The deposit is held on your credit card, once the RV is returned in acceptable condition and inspected the full deposit will be released. In the event of damages, damages are deducted from the deposit.

  • Do I need to have a campsite reservation?

    Yes. We require you to have a confirmed

    campsite prior to making your reservations with us, not applicable for personal residence. If you

    need assistance with this, please feel free to reach out.

  • Are Delivery/Pick Up times flexible?

    We try to accommodate all requests, but they are not guaranteed.

  • What's included in my prep fee?

    • Enhanced cleaning & Sanitation

    • Filling propane

    • Filling the fresh water tank

    • Stocking paper products, and toilet treatment

    • Emptying the black and grey tanks

  • Do I need to purchase the insurance?

    Yes, insurance is required on all bookings. Bookings without insurance are subject to cancellation.

  • Why do I need to show proof of insurance and and also buy insurance?

    The insurance you carry for your vehicle covers the unit when it’s attached to the hitch for liability but does not cover damages or replacement cost in the event of a total loss. The insurance you are required to purchase per day covers the unit during transit, as well as when it’s parked on the campsite for the duration of the rental period.The insurance you carry for your vehicle covers the unit when it’s attached to the hitch for liability but does not cover damages or replacement cost in the event of a total loss.   • Can I use the awning?

    Awning usage is permitted but we require that the unit be retracted during winds exceeding 10MPH or Thunderstorms. If you retract the awning during your stay, we ask that you take a broom or a towel to wipe off any bugs or debris on the canvas prior to retracting it. Additional cleaning fee will apply.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    If a reservation is canceled MORE than 14 days prior to the start date of the trip:


    REFUNDED

    • 50% of booking total, including tax

    • Anything paid toward the protection package, including tax


    NOT REFUNDED

    • The service fee, including tax

  • What is required for towing a trailer?

    The tow vehicle must have a Class III receiver, brake control, and a 7-way wiring plug in order to tow a travel trailer. The trailer tongue height is 18″-21″ off the ground and the trailer ball size will vary depending upon trailer size. Most of the trailers are a 2″5/16 ball. The tow vehicle needs to be appropriately rated for the weight of the trailer.

  • Is smoking allowed in the RV’s?

    Smoking is NOT allowed in our rental units. A

    minimum $500.00 deodorizing fee WILL apply for odor caused by smoking.

  • Are there restrictions as to where I can take my rental?

    Motorhomes are limited for use on well-graded or paved roads. Trips into Mexico are not permitted. Also, travel through extreme desert areas, such as Death Valley, during hot periods is not permitted. If you have questions, call your vacation adviser.

  • Are there one way rentals?

    Not as this time.

  • What essentials are included in the rental?

    The campers stocked with the necessary items for six people. Included in the camper are; pots and pans, cooking utensils, casserole dish, pitcher, coffee maker, toaster, dish rack, six place settings including plates, saucers, bowls, cups glasses, silverware, camping chairs, outdoor folding table, games, and linens. Also included are salt and pepper and other seasonings, non-abrasive soft scrub, dish soap, cleaning supplies such as, broom, dust pan, surface cleaner, hand soap, Swiffer wet jet. If you have a special request such as canopy tent or outdoors grill, please ask. You never know what we may have in stock.

  • Can I ship personal items to you for our vacation?

    Of course! Many of our out-of-town guests ship parcels to us before they arrive. Just ship it to yourself in the care of Wild RV Ventures at the address you are picking up from.

  • What about the generator?

    Motorhomes come with a generator so you can camp anywhere you want, with or without hook-ups. Generators are only needed when the RV is not plugged into shore power. The only items that require AC power are the overhead air conditioner,

    microwave, TV/DVD player, and any item you would plug into an AC wall outlet. Unlimited

    Generator usage can be rented for $9.95 per night. We also offer generators for out travel trailers. The night rate is first 4 hours free, then $3.50 per hour after.

  • What is your privacy policy?

    At Wild RV Ventures, we respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. Your personally identifiable information may be collected when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information, and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone. Your payment and personal information

    are always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the

    best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal

    information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over

    the internet. We follow all information privacy requirements and regulations as set forth by

    state and federal law.

  • How long can I dry camp in an RV?

    Dry camping means you are camping without any

    electricity, water, or sewer hook ups. The length of time an RV can go before it needs to be charged or dumped will vary depending on the RV. Batteries can go dead as quickly as 48-hours depending on the use. On-board water will vary depending on consumption. Showers take the most water. Holding tanks also vary based on use. On average, motorhomes may go 3-5 days. Trailers about the same if you have an alternative power source to charge the batteries.

  • What AMP’s do I need for electric hookups?

    Many campgrounds will have various options

    for electric hookups. All of our motorhomes and trailers need a 30 or 50 AMP hookup. If the

    campground only offers a 110v/15AMP (regular household outlet) then you can still use that to

    power everything except the overhead air conditioner with the adapter provided in every rental.

  • Can I leave my car at the Wild RV Ventures parking lot?

    Due to restricted parking space, we unfortunately do not allow parking at our facilities. No overnight parking is allowed. All vehicles left overnight will be towed offsite.

  • Can I rent during the winter?

    During the winter months, you can rent an RV. All RVs are winterized and a fee of $165 will be applied to all winter rentals to dewinterize the RV. Upon

    returning your RV, it will be inspected the same-day. If any freeze damage occurred during your

    rented time, you will be responsible for all parts and labor. No after hours or weekend drops off

    are permitted during the winter months.

  • How does the mileage work?

    Travel Trailers have unlimited mileage.
